Horse Auctions in FL?

I'll be moving to Florida soon(within the next year) and I am curious about auctions there. Would be looking for a low priced horse. I know of the risks of auctions, and although I am an experienced rider and have a good eye, I will be taking someone for a second opinion.

I wanted to know of auctions in Florida, particularly the high risk ones. There's a bunch in the state that I live in now but haven't been to them. Don't want to have to haul 2 horses(especially since the one I would get from auction might not be a good hauler) for 14 hours. I know that mine alone will be fine. I'm not looking for a dead broke horse, and I can work with just about anything. Just looking for something that isn't completely bonkers and is inexpensive to buy. Willing to work. Would love to rescue another horse.

If this is in the wrong section, I'm sorry.

Get down there and look around. Depending on where you are, many TB's are available, if they aren't cut out to race. And won't have to go to an auction either.

I'll be in/around Tallahassee. There are just tons of places around here even listed in Wikipedia. Plus Chalestown isn't too far of a drive either, and you can get ex racers from there. My eventual plan is to move down to Ocala.

That isn't far from me. There are usually auctions listed with local Feed stores and the local boarding places will have info on auctions. I'm not sure about Tally in general, but have seen posts on CL for some just west of Tally by about an hour. Once there in Tally then look for the local feed supply store and ask them while browsing the shelves.
