It looks to me like it is secured to the cantle, like a crupper would be.

I love watching the scurry racing! I managed to get on the arena party team (putting up courses and suchlike) at Horse of the Year Show, and we got to see these guys up close and personal! Loved the names too, always a little pair Can be dangerous though, one very experienced driver had the scurry cart flip and knock her out after pulling in to close to an obstacle, lucky she only had a concussion and the ponies stopped quickly.

It was an amazing experience though, to be arena side at such a prestigious event in such an amazing venue, meeting all the scary famous people! Might have almost been run over by Ellen Whitaker - my fault completely! Forgot to look right as I was running away from a jump I'd just put back up as she was coming into the arena - doh! Luckily I stopped in time and didn't get into trouble ;)

Arghh so glad I started this thread wasn't sure if anyone would post in it. I was impressed by horseboarding but the video of skates and jumps is even more impressive, I love it!

They just clip the line on to the back of the saddle, saw them unhook their boarders at the end of a circuit.

It's good to see sports and groups being created like this, I think there are alot of people that wouldn't normally enter classes at shows that could get into these sports, myself included.

Here's one for the winter sports enthusiasts. We actually passed a competition one time on our way to Sun Valley so we stopped and watched. Then my hubby asked if we could try it on a snow board!
