I know! It's like getting her out of Fort Knox in the mornings, what with the five neck/under chin fastenings, the three velcro belly straps and the leg straps, but it's worth it! She looks adorable with it on, and it's great because her poll was one of the places that got most irritated!

My sister uses earplugs on her pony when the arena is noisy (wind, rain, hail, snow falling off rooks, random equipment being used the pony isn't used to). She has been known to bolt and buck when she spooks so I guess it is used as a small safety device? I am not sure how effective it is.

Wow those are all interesting, and that fly sheet is to DIE FORRRR!!!!! I'd have to see if I can get one this summer for my boy! But one more question sorry haha when you have their fly sheets on do people stop using the bug spray on them or do they use both?

I use fly spray on the spots the sheet doesn't cover, but you can use it all over.

The little filly who wears that fly sheet still gets fly spray wiped over her face, between her front legs (where the belly doesn't cover), and between her hind legs, otherwise she kicks up between her back legs and cuts herself, silly moo.
