Without the handler's feelings of respect, reverence, and gratitude; the horse is best not ridden or even handled at all.

Wow... some story!

Hold on to what makes you happy! If it tries to buck you off, just hold on even tighter!

Good grief, did they just assume the horse was dead so they left him?? You'd think they'd notice if their trailer came off.....

Heartless! They’ve done a runner to avoid getting in trouble; it says a lot about their feelings for the horse.

It's posted on FaceBook horse had to be PTS he had to much damage from being upside down. A passer by stopped to investigate after seeing trailer sitting there from earlier in the day. 6 hours had elapsed by the time that person went by again and then investigated the trailer. And found the horse inside and called for help.

It is being investigated to see if the police can find who left the scene of the accident. An left the trailer there with horse inside it, obviously they didn't care about that horse....sick ,sick people in this world!

Are trailers not supposed to be registered there? Would be easy to find trailer owner and then horse owner.

Sad, very sad....

For the animal, I'm glad someone finally stopped and looked, rendering the care finally needed...even if it ended in euthanasia the animal stopped suffering.
Makes me wonder if who had the trailer and horse did not own nor have permission to have said items...called stolen.
Why else would you leave your beloved pet on the roadside...makes no sense.

Ummm....Yes, "supposed" to be registered. Arizona has an option of a lifetime tag. Sometimes those find their way onto an unregistered trailer. And no one checks vin no's on trailers. There's a lot of trailers in Arizona with lifetime tags and no vin.

Ditto the above @Hondo said. "Lifetime tags" are often a 'perk' people include in their trailer sale ads! So it's hard to find out who the owner really is.

Horrible thing to do. People can be so heartless. :(
