Aww bless, the poor girl!! :( Thank goodness you and the rescue have been able to get a hold of her and get her in shape. In a few months time you wont be able to recognize her - she'll be beautiful!

He said his vet said she was 19. I think she's older. Her teeth are pretty well worn.

Ohhh those pics of her make me cry. SO happy that you were diligent. You are a wonderful person for doing what you do to help creatures without a voice. It's a good addiction! lol.

Wow, well good they can help her. You should mention a feed that helps weight gain... its called Empower Boost by Nutrena. I used it this year for a mare that just wouldn't put weight on. She gained about 150 pounds in less than 2 months! I think it could really help this old girl. It's like $30 a bag but one bag lasted almost 2 months while feeding hay too. It really saves in the end and works miracles. I wish you luck and best wishes ~~~Amanda~~~
