Not sure if this fits here. Had a class mate convinced that an article about handicapping standardbreds was about handicapped people racing horses. The logic was that they were handicapped and thats why they sat in carts instead of on the horses. Her friend had to explain that no they are not handicapped thats just harness racing. I just smiled and nodded.

Oh she's real easy to catch, in a small pen, with a gallon of oats , and baler twine stuffed up your sleeve!

Sheath cleaning, he does not like it because the water is cold. I have also heard, He really likes it because he is a sensual creature.

"I communed with his spirit and he is ready to go too" - said before euthanizing an old horse - translation - I have a back hoe here and the hole is dug might as well put two in instead of one.

I can't wait to see this book. I definitely want a copy! I'm not sure if its funny or not but the only things I can think of at the moment is:

My horse won't cross the creek because he just had a bath.

And I told my horse I was going to barrel race and teach him the clover leaf pattern. Now he thinks he's an Irish Sport Horse.

We can't go down that path, see that big rock there? It eats horses that get too close.
