1. How old are you?
2. How many years have you been riding?
3. How often do you ride?
-2/6 times per week currently
4. How many times have you fallen?
5. Funniest fall?
-I was on a pony bareback being lunged in the round pen by his owner and he did an abrupt stop and scoot to the side at a puddle..I slid and became unbalanced and ended up just sliding off to my feet. So, not a technical fall from a horse, but as soon as I hit that mud puddle I slipped and fell on my *** in my brand new jeans and boots, lol.
6. Worst fall?
-My third time riding Lucky (very difficult mare), and my first time taking her on a barrel pattern at a show. It was my exhibition and I was told she was pushbutton..So, dummy me just let her go and we took our first barrel great, on the second one..well, we never made it, lol. I didn't realize she was actually touchy with leg cues and I added a bit of leg to get her closer to her pocket and instead she went straight for the barrel, slid stopped and took a sharp turn to the left..and I continued straight, lol. How I fell I should've landed on my shoulder, but I've always been taught to land on my back, no matter what while I was taking TKD classes. So, I landed on my back and just laid there for a second cussing at myself and got up to find everyone thinking I was actually hurt, lol. I took a minute to adjust my lower back and take my studded belt off (NEVER again, haha) and got right back on and ran three more great patterns (for the horse anyway).
7. Most recent fall?
-Most recent was the last one I just described :p
Since it isn't in there, my second fall was when us barn kids were racing in the hay field..My horse jumped forward as he took off and I fell behind the cantle with no reins or stirrups..at that point I shoved myself off to land on my feet and then fall onto my ***..yet again, haha. I got told "I told you he'd rear if you took him to race", which wasn't true, but oh well..doesn't bother me. My fault for thinking he was done lunging and not grabbing the horn in a saddle with maybe an inch high cantle, haha.
