I just switched stables, having anxiety **rambled

I'm an infamous over-worrier. I worry all the time, mostly about my horse. I just always see so many things that can go wrong I suppose.

So this morning I just switched stables. Full out field board (I've got a youngin' with osteoarthritis) to now stall board, and I'm nervous honestly.

I don't want her to stiffen up too much in the stall. She's never needed a joint supplement before, the field board has been enough to keep her going. I'm really hoping she doesn't get sick or stiffen up. She gets the nighttime in right now and the daytime out with the winter. Ah.

I also am really concerned about the ring. There are A-Circuit riders there who still ride in it, but one side is deep, meaning the horse's foot literally sinks into it, and the other side doesn't have as much footing as it should (at least it's better than the super deep). I'm nervous that my horse, especially being more sensitive with her arthritis, might get injured once she gets into a strict training schedule. What should I do!?

There are grass fields, they aren't completely flat, but I could ride in them. Not sure though what to do about this. I'm so confused.

Not trying to make this stable sound bad by any means. I literally am 5 minutes from it whereas the other was 40 minutes. Here I can go every day and the other place only 4 days a week max often times. So it is a trade-off, and I am nervous.

I think I just am over-worrying, but I genuinely need someone to tell me the truth and tell me if I have anything to be concerned about or not... and also someone who knows what they're saying and isn't blindly consoling me...

Thanks everyone. You da best :)

This is your real issue, not moving your horse or the other issues that you have frantically posted about in the past few days. Your horse will most probably be fine in the stall, and just be careful of the footing until you are both used to it. Instead of worrying yourself to death, you would be far better off putting that mental time and energy into getting to the root of your anxiety issue. diminish the anxiety and you can enjoy not only your horse but the rest of your life.

We grow too soon old, and too late smart.
