Just a little off topic, you mentioned it was cold in there. What are you using on your feet to keep them warm (something that is always of great concern to me when it comes to any cold weather riding)?
LOL, yesterday I was resigned to having cold feet, both metaphorically and actually, so just had on my fluffy socks and my Ariat trainers. I do have a pair of Mountain Horse winter paddock boots, they are toasty warm, but I don't like riding in them so much, because they are so clumpy. The compromise is a pair of Brit Colt boots, amazingly they actually stretch around my fat calves, and are better to ride in.
Part of the secret to keeping feet warm is to make sure your legs are warm enough, when I got back yesterday it was -20*C (-4*f) and by the time I had fed Gibbs, sorted out the trailer and taken in some firewood I was frozen, should of had long johns on!
