I'm so sad right now

So I guess I'm just looking for a sympathetic ear right now, my BF isn't horsey and he doesn't really understand why I'm so upset.

My favourite horse,Vinnie, who I used to ride and the only horse I felt truly safe on,and who I was supposed to be going to ride again soon passed away this morning:(

He was such a sweet boy,but cheeky with it too, always wanted to please you.

He colicked this morning and had to be pts.
Even though he was a fair age..19-20 I think,he still had a life ahead of him.
I haven't seen him for a while but it still hurts to think I will never see him again.

Goodbye my sweet friend,I will miss you,
Hope you found Duke over the rainbow bridge..

I have attached the Facebook post his owner natasha put up this morning so you all can see what a handsome boy he was.

I always have a soft spot for Paints. My first was a Tobiano that would do anything I ask. I have buried too many over the years. When I buried Toby the cows all came in and stood around the grave after I placed her in it. I sat on her hindquarters just before that and cried. Never seen that before or since. We all liked her, even the cows she worked. When I buried the last one 15 years ago or so I said that's it. One and a half years ago I weakened and now have two horses and the love is still there for such a beautiful animal. Your horse was a beautiful creature. Thank the lord for all the time you were able to spend with him. Time will heal, but never for get the good times you had together.
