An indefinitely short period of time.

A moment is an indefinitely short period of time.

Today I had my first moment with my horse. We have come a long way since I got her in July. She needed someone she knows she can't push them around, I finally figured that out! But on to our little moment. On our way home from school today I saw Shasta on the ground sun bathing. I stopped to check on her. (I have a fear of horses laying down. lol) I called her name as I got closer to her. She got up (I guess we don't have enough trust for her to remain laying down) She walked up to me and put her head on my chest. It was only for a moment, but I finally feel like we are bonding!

Shasta used to have a problem with rubbing her face on you, but she didn't do that this time, she just put her head there for a couple of seconds.

Share your moments with your horses here!

All four of my horses stay laying down if I come along and so does the horse boarded here. In fact the boarder's horse doesn't even lift his I walk by he opens an eye and then goes back to sleep LOL I let the horses out in the yard and tie a rope across the driveway so they can't get out.....I look out one day and there is the boarder's horse laying by the round pen, I see his feet moving every so often so I go to check him.....LOL his head was stuck under the bottom board and he was laying there looking at me as if to say "well are you gonna help or just stand there"
I have tons of stories that I could tell with these five.....they are all such good characters!

My horses are the joy in my life.....

My cousin's horse use to put his feet on our fence to push it down while he ate the grass on the other. One day my grandma was out feeding and he didn't come over. He had gotten his leg caught in the fence and was just waiting for someone to help him. lol.
