this guy sounds suspicious......

1. he had the picture change....it probably came off google images or something stupid

2. he said
Quote:
"thats what alchol, bad women and life does to you sweety".
but that doesn't explain eye colour changing unless he has contacts.....and even if his eyes were the same he sounds like an alcholic![/quote]

Thats what it sounds like doesnt it. She is old enough to relise this... but it doesnt seem she is. She has been sucked in.

JDI- Yeh it does make you sick, some stuff people do. Sometimes I think im the only one around who has enough common sense... sorry big accusation to make... but im serious!

My2Geldings- It sure is! Although my grandmother met my father in a bar first, although they got employed at the same station... thats when they became 'hooked'. Although thats going back 50-60 years, alot has changed since then.

Is there any way you can convince her to have him come to Australia, rather than her go there? If he doesn't have the means to come to her, that should tell her something. Plus it would be on her home ground. I think it would be really dangerous for her to go to the UK alone to meet him. Not that a woman cant take care of herself but lets face it we are the "weaker sex". Would it make the family feel better about the whole thing if he came there?

I find this hard to comprehend...
I mean, if she is happy, I am happy for her, although I just dont want her to get hurt.
Have you heard the stories of Women going overseas meeting a guy, getting raped and then killed.
He lives in the UK.
They have all ready made plans to marry

Whats your opinion on internet dating sites.
My opinion, if you dont have enough time to meet people the 'proper' way, then maybe you should question yourself on wether you should be meeting them 'online'.

Whats your opinion?
my opinion personally there r good and bad things sbout internet dating

the good thing is 4 people like me meaning i am in a wheelchair and it is very hard 4 me 2 tlk 2 people cause of it. it is easier 4 me 2 tlk 2 sumone and hold a conversation and let people know who i am behind the wheelchair. because althoughpeople don't like to amit it they do judge other by the way they look.

but the bad things r that yes u do get sik people that do rape and kill but it is just as like 2 happen if u met the person at a club or pub 2. my personal experience is that yes i have been hurt by people emotionally by them not teling the truth.

so in my opinion i think its a good thing but u should meet the person with friends or in a very public place but yer it can be good :)

my best friend met her soul mate on the internet and married him...

I also know a guy who met a girl from Australia online, went to meet her and now they are married too

There are horror stories about every kind of dating. Heck, you can meet someone in the grocery store, go on a date and get murdered....

Not that its funny or anything... I just had a vision of a chalk outline with veggies scattered all around and a can of soup rolling down the parking lot... ...ok...so it was a little funny in MY mind.

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.

LOL Dumas! :P That is a bit funny...
but anyway, yeah rape/murdering can occur with anyone, anywhere. But in real life at least you can see the person...like online, you don't know who is behind the screen.

She has very good advice. Again coming the background I come from, I would strongly advise for her not to go there. Have the guy come down. If he is serious he will do it. It's a world expectation to have the guy come to see her and not the other way around. I'm surprised she isnt concerned at all to go out of her way and spend so much money to see someone she has never met in real life.

I would love to meet her and explain to her in detail what this type of "deal" can lead to.

I know, but still. Some people don't have webcams lol. ;)

But yeah...like I had said before in my post, make sure that they meet in a well-populated public place. ;)

Ride more, worry less.
