Spelling and grammar are usually a first red flag. Then having a shipper do the inspection is the second. These are all over the place and sadly some people do fall for it.

Unless it weighs a ton... it's just a horse. Draft horse motto.

I had dozens of the same replies when I was selling my car.

I know someone who was all ready to wire a "man in Nigeria" money to rent "his house" while he was away. If only everyone had a horse forum like us, then they'd know all about this craziness. =]

It is such a scam!! If they can't come out & see the horse because they are "to busy", you can bet it's a scam! Also, the first clue is the spelling, & using a shipper. SCAM!!

Scam, I have had the same replys to horses, saddles, hay, and most everything I have put up for sale, they were worded just like the one you got... don't do it. someone on the up and up will want to come see the horse before buying,

Never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear, or a fool from any direction.!!!

Google your response. You'll see it's a scam. I received many of the exact same email when I posted a WANTED ad on CL! They didn't even bother to read what it was and sent me the message to buy my item when I didn't even have one LOL

Ick. I haven't used ebay recently enough to get it from them. Have had the "You've won this/Your card is over drafted/etc and we need your social to verify your identity!" calls. A friend of mine fell for it and was out big money.

People can be so slimey.
