keeping grain?
I know your not supposed to leave grain in the bag if you have critters and I have mice, so what should I keep my grain in? I was thinking of washing an old trash can out and putting it in there.
Opinions? If you have another idea please share, but I don't want to spend Micmac money on it either.
Thanks!

Anything you can make bug-proof and critter-proof. Mine is in a large steel professional toolchest. I added foam weatherstripping around the lid for a tight seal.
I use a trash can for my horse food and an old plastic cooler for the cat food.
I use plastic trash cans for mine. If you have a big rodent problem you might want to get metal trash cans.

I use a metal trash can.

I use plastic trash cans with clip down lids that won't come off easily
We keep the grain in a old Chest Freezer that we picked up for free.
i use trash cans on my front porch
Another trash cans with lids user here. Barn cats are also on my anti-rodent defense team.
