Root Beer Floats


And of course the Dead Man's Float:

Our milkmen in the UK used to drive a 'float' - milk delivery van - not sure if they still call them that

delivered milk is so rare that I doubt anyone would recognise a milk float anymore they were battery driven and as quiet as mice to not wake people in the morning.

We still had a milk delivery where we lived but they used a van - we were miles from any shops though!!!
