Liberty work with our 2 geldings

What are some ways to work with horses for a better bond and do liberty work?... I know it's kinda hard without a round pen but I would like some ideas to try to get our horses to connect with liberty work! I have a field I can work with them in.

i hate to say this, but my experience is that ground work done without an understanding of how to do it reasonably correctly only trains in poor responses. If you are new to that, get someone to actually show you, rather than watching one video and deciding that you are going to retrain your horses and get some kind of bond that you don't currently already have.

I do occasional groundwork, and I have a teacher that helps me, and I still feel like I am making the horse put up with an awful lot of mucking around by me for me to learn. Poor babies!
