How thoughtful of your son. Hope you can get back on your feet as soon as you can. But in the meantime, go out and enjoy your new horse. :)

He is a handsome, solid looking boy. Have you thought of a name for him yet?

I haven't been able to think of a name yet.

He is registered but my son hasn't gotten his papers yet so I'm sure he already has a name.

How nice! Nice horse, nice son and nice mom for raising her son to be the person that he is!

Congratulations. As for a name, I find my animals always just "develop" a name after a few days.

Congrats on your new horse. You are lucky to have such a caring son. Good luck on the house sale. Are you looking for a different job? Or will your salary go up again at some point, so you can shoulder more of the horse upkeep? He is a beauty & I love that he sounds so calm & may be a better fit than the buckskin was. Enjoy!

No, I can't leave the job I have. I've been there 20.5 years. I can retire but I need to stay another 3.5 years to bring my retirement up enough that I can afford to retire.

Once I sell the house, things will be much easier. This is a rental house that hasn't brought income in almost 3 years. I let my youngest son and his wife live there as a wedding present till she graduated as a Pharmacist and my son finished commercial flight school. They renovated the entire house so it is making it much easier to sell. I just have a few things to touch up before putting it on the market.
