Sounds like you haven't been to Michigan. Lol.

Today was 75-80 and sunny. But I remember that we had all the weather in one day...I swear it. First it rained, sleet/hailed, snowed, then it all cleared up and it was sunny. I kid you not.

I have a billion turnout blankets as well, all with bite marks & tears!!! Last attack was Saturday evening, bathed one horse to take to my granddaughter's birthday party, my other horse attacked the blanket and ripped a hole in it, within 2 minutes, nice. Not.

It's snowing here and everyone who will need hay later this year is happy, happy!

Yeah, it's cold, but it will pay off later!

Yay Boots! So glad you are getting moisture! Every time I complain about the weather I think about you down there with it being so dry.

We got freezing rain and some blowing snow today. It's not near as bad as Yorkton got. They got around a foot yesterday and around 5 more inches this morning. Somewhat crazy.

A lot of our snow melted last week. Actually it was about 3 days that melted most of it. And thankfully by Thursday we are supposed to be back up to +8*C!

Quit complaining, and just send about 15-20 degrees of it our way, along with about half the precipitation. Last week has been record or near-record highs (in the 80s, in April!), and dry as a bone.

Dang, that's no good.

I was up in north central SD last weekend and there are fissures in the ground from the drought. Some a couple feet deep, maybe more. The ground never froze all winter because there is no moisture in it. It hit 81*F on Saturday.

It's crazy.... April and everyone around here is already talking about making a road trip to bring semi-loads of hay back from elsewhere. Hay is the number one theft item around here right now.

I would love some rain.... just not so thrilled with frozen white stuff. The last snowstorm CO got meant I had all my kids and the neighbor kids here for a WEEK! There was a bus in every ditch and the county had to send the road graders to go pull them out and then they finally just cancelled school for anyone that lives on a dirt road. I got desperate by Friday and met up with the bus at the Highway (first day *I* could get out of my driveway with something other than the ATV!!).

I really really wish we could swap degrees and moisture, because if it doesn't warm up and dry up **** soon we will not be able to seed a crop and have time for it to come to harvest.
