Making a Bitless Bridle

I got some nylon rope the other day and decided to try my hand at making a bitless bridle, just to see if I could...

Well, I could. Lol. Had a lot of fun with it and decided to ride my four year old gelding around to see how he did. He responded better to it than he does with his actual bridle... I'm not done with it, though... I've got to hunt up some leather and thicker nylon to really make it look better, so this is just a rough draft of what the finished product will look like. I hope to get it all finished within a week, if I can find all my leather scraps...

Looks good. My only caution is that with the cord being so thin it is very strong and could easily do harm, especially if it's placed too low on the nose. Do keep us updated on your finished product though :)
