Talking Making a Paracord Bosal

Hi ya'll!! I have an Arabian gelding who does a whole heck-of-a-lot better without the bit, but in showing I can't use just a halter.....it looks unprofessional! So, I have lotsa paracord and decided I wanted to find somebody who could help me with making a bosal!! I do barrel racing, jumping, Hunter Pace's, cow sorting....etc. My two horses are all-around horses and well rounded in everything they do. I just need people to talk to about questions that I have. Please help as quick as you can (and with pictures would be great) with this question!!

In my country showing without a bit isn't permitted.
Are you permitted to be bitless?

I am not sure paracord would make a good bosal, it would not be rigid or heavy enough IMHO. That said buy this book.
. u-braid-it . quality braiding materials for horse tack

FYI, it is spelled W-H-O-A.

Thank you! I am trying to be cheap, but I also want a light bosal, because my boy is super sensitive and the heavy ones he doesn't like.....he works better with a light one so I want to try and make one with paracord and see how it works out I actually have that book, but I let someone borrow it and it never got returned......and now I have no money to buy another one......I still need help
