Talking Morning lesson was beyond a success!

Okay I must sit down and share with you HOW GREAT our morning lesson was today! WOW!!

We did a new canter exercise, canter 20 meters, trot coming to X 10 meter trot circle to the right, outside the 20 meter, come back on the 20 meter keeping his shoulders coming around and tempo even and steady the whole time and canter after returning to the 20 meter again.

This helped us so so so so much, I still needed to let go with my left inside arm/hand more and let him fallow me around with all my outside aids keeping him straight.

I am so pleased, beaming ear to ear! I needed this lesson!! I really did, we did! It flowed when I was correct!! canter just came and happened, My legs where on him but not tight or pinched....really bad habit I have! I could fallow with my arms, breath through my back and canter...just canter and the do it all again!

For Oliver to trust me in a new canter exercise was huge, no tense bracing of his neck, dropping his back, fallowing out behind....he trusted me, he did what I asked and stayed with me and we got better each time. By the end of the lesson he was blowing and licking and chewing, head down low and looking for more sugar! No video, sorry!

Just had to share!

Thank you!!
Im still on a high from it haha! I cant wait to really work on it all this week, and bonus....weather is supposed to be DRY! YES!

I love my trainer, there was much more "yes, there you have it, go....feel that that is correct, your really riding him now!" nothing more motivating then positive feedback and feeling that connection!!

My mom wouldn't understand a word of this so all I can tell her is "our canter transitions are getting better...smoother and keep it at that haha So being able to explain what I did and know it will be read and understood is the best!

Here's to another great ride tomorrow!
