I have been looking at horses for months and finally found the one for me! I have been riding since I was little and I kind of fell out of it, but now, I am back in the game, currently learning barrels and poles!
I found a two year old breeding stock paint gelding. His coat is considered to be a smokey brown, but even the best horse lady I know has no idea what his color is. His mom was a buckskin QH and is dad a black overo paint. Vegas, is what we changed his name to, when he was a baby looked almost black, but now at two he is a mixture of dark brown and buckskin! He is very unique. People at the barn love his coloring. His mane is dark brown with redish tips. He is very cool!
I will post pictures of him soon. He is such a good boy and will be my trail king! I am training him to be an all around horse. Currently when he stops at a walk or a trot he scoots his rear end under himself like a true reiner! Hes got the speed and rear end for a barrel racer, and the calm and collected walk like a trail horse! He is my project and I am so excited!
Just wanted to share!
