I honestly think he's gorgeous! Once you get some pounds on him and get him cleaned up a bit I think he's gonna be a stunner. I'm glad you're going to be posting updates. :) For a name what about Clancy, Ox, Bogart, Badger, Celtic Storm, Cascade.?

I thought Sarge when I first saw the picts and Comet for some reason. I like the name Clancy. I think he'll nice once you get him back in shape.

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.

Update: I decided to let my grandpa help me name him, and he picked the name "Smokey". :) I think it fits his cute personality. I gave him his first worming and I'm getting him shod soon. We went on our first ride yesterday and he did great. I had to ride him in a halter because his mouth is still a little sore. His reining isn't the absolute best, but we can work on that. He's a good little horse, though. We rode around the entire property and he spent the entire ride at a flat footed, low headed walk. He paid attention to his surroundings, but he didn't spook at anything. My cousin and his friend pulled up with a truck and trailer full of logs. They had a dog in the back, and he barked and growled at my horse the whole time they were here. Smokey didn't seem to mind it much. I can't wait to get him healthier and in better shape. I think he'll turn out really handsome. Anyway, here's some pictures from our first ride. :)

I see something in him. I'm not even a big grey fan, but there's something about him, isn't there? =)

That's what I've been thinking this whole time, but I'm a sucker for a grey. lol He showed a lot of potential on his first day. :)
