The Name Game ( I need a name!)

I got Shockability (AKA Sammy) in Mid-July. He's been called Sammy since birth as a barn name, and as difficult as it will be to change it ( I board with his original breeders) I just can't seem to warm up to the name.

I don't like 'people' names for horses. My yearling is Stryder, my 6 year old gelding is named Drifter.

I was thinking of a few, but none of them are really sticking.

a few pictures:

I need some non-people names! I like names easy to roll off the tongue and remember.

And no hooey about bad luck renaming a horse either.

If I don't find something I like that seems to fit him really well, then he'll be Sammy until I do.

I have come a long way, to surrender my shadow to the shadow of my horse.

I always end up calling my mount something like, "Goober", "big guy" "buddy" "doofus" "chubby" "mister" "pretty girl" "little Missy", and for 17hh Z, "Little Man"
