Names : What does this stand for?

Stupid question, but...
The pony I'm currently riding is registered/shown as AA Devil's Chicklet
and I noticed a couple of horses at the last show were AA something or SS something, and I was wondering if that actually stood for anything / if so, then what?

It's usually the initials of the barn they were bred at. For example a horse bred at "Rainbow Stables" might be called "RS Horse Name"

Also, if it's AA or AAA:
if there is a roster for the event and it's in alphabetical order, their names will be at the VERY top of the list, which helps with increasing their popularity. It's a marketing scheme you'll see a lot in the Yellow Pages. hehe
Edit: sorry, I realized your in BC. Yellow Pages is a directory listing different companies/ services. Not sure if you have that there :)
