Neat Historical Photographs

This is on the wall at a local Meijer store. The store is in a shopping center that was built on what was a grand thoroughbred farm. Sadly, many farms are going this way. Selling off history for shopping centers and apartment complexes.

I thought this photo was awesome. It is titled "Breaking Yearlings at Hamburg Farms". All riding yearlings aside, wouldn't it be great to have that many kids at one time willing to learn and do like these boys? And how can you not LOVE the kid on the far right.

Bareback no less, while breaking yearlings! lol

Great pics thanks for sharing.

I have gone done a hill that steep when I was a kid, but I don't think I'd try it now, unless it was an emergency, and I was trying to get away from someone/thing!
