Hello,

I'm glad to hear that Nell is doing well. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of her. Her sire is Western Hanover and her dam is Nevertheless by Grinfromeartoear. Nell won $16,888 while racing. We sold the dam a few years ago because we were cutting back our stock and she hadn't produced many foals that had raced well.

If there is any other information you would like please let me know!

Sincerely,

Susan Grove
Farm Manager
I have no idea what else I should ask her (I was rather hoping for a picture of her as a foal), it's still pretty exciting!

Thank you for feeding us years of lies. Thank you for the wars you left us to fight. Thank you for the world you ruined overnight. But we'll be fine, yeah we'll be fine.

There are entire libraries devoted just to TB racehorses. Some of them nay even have finish line photos, be able to trace other owners if there were any, where your horse raced, etc. I found it really helpful when I rescued my OTTB years ago, but I was also fortunate enough to have one of these libraries close enough. I pieced together quite about my guy......

Very good. If you did want to ask further questions, perhaps you could look at any health/lameness issues they had with her. I suspect, since this is a business with many horses going through the barn door, that they may have kept records on that but not likely any fun facts about what she was like growing up on the place.

What races she may have been in or atleast the years she raced so you could research them for pictures or articles about her.

I emailed back an asked for any photos and information on the dam, as I'm not able to find any standardbred under the name NeverTheLess, I also made sure to ask if Nelly had an health or physical problems while she was there.
