New Horse

Hey all!

Posted a while back about having to get out of horses for a while, a lot of life changes, and stuff. Good news.

Bought me one the other day! Don't know much about him. Don't really know what breed he his. They said he was probably part Rocky Mountain Horse. Don't know, and really don't care, just glad to have a horse again. He's 2 and half to 3 old stallion. Doesn't really act it. Very calm. But, don't want to breed, so getting him taken care of soon. Can't imagine him being much calmer after getting him gelded, He's not afraid of trimmers, water, water hoses, or tarps. I was watching a trainer one time explain how to use a tarp to train 'em to go through water. So I got one out the other day, no problem, you could've pinned it on him and he would've worn it, I'll post pics as soon as I can.

Welcome back! Can't wait to see pix of your new guy. My sister has a Rocky mtn horse and I have a Kentucky mtn--almost the same thing I think. Anyway I love my boy too. He's fun to ride and quite friendly.

Congrats!!!! Where's the pics of Chester? Really cool that you were able to fit a horse into your life again.

He was a little thin when I got him, but I've been working on that.

Thanks! That's only half of the pasture, the other half is bigger. Just need to clear it out.
