Smile A new horse for Christmas

Hi,

Just thought I would share . . . I got a horse for Christmas. I'm hoping she'll be the best present ever. It's looking very promising for that right now. I bought her to trail ride and to drive. She was trained and used by the Amish for over a year being driven in a team. She was broke to ride this year. She's very sweet, has a nice trot, great Whoa, and is four years old. She needs to learn more about leg cues but that will be fun to teach her. She seems quick to learn and is the most trained horse I've bought myself in a while.

Jan

Thanks for the compliment . . . I think she's gorgeous too.

What's her name? Is she a Belgian? She's very, very pretty. Do you still drive her or are you just going to keep her as a riding horse?

I'm going to steal her too. German shepards are no match for me if they're too busy chewing on Eventersbabe!

She looks more like a halflinger.

I agree with every one else. She is very cute.

lol it's ok. If you look at the fence, and then at the horse, you can see that the fence would have to be really tall for that horse to be a belgin.

She looks like a Halfie Cross (QH?) Halfies have a distinctive look... hers is... softened somewhat. But she is absolutely STUNNING!!!
