She is beautiful, and I agree with Tracer, she has an 'old soul' look to her. We had a mare like that at our riding school and she was super honest and looked after her riders (little ones!) so well.

SkysEternalAngel I definitely am (: I think that she already is one in a million XP But yeah, I agree. She is going to be a stunning girl. She's my diamond in the rough.

CaCowgirl Thanks! It really has been a really great start, hasn't been the easiest path. But everything has fallen into place nicely. She is even slowly starting to enjoy company with another horse who belongs to the girl I am boarding with. Made me grin, after seeing the way she was bullied by her former pasture mates.

Haha, awh, cue the blushing ;P But I really am up and way over the moon for her. Horses are my passion being without one for so long was so very hard. And I've gotten her at a somewhat bumpy part of my life so Midna is like my own little angel.

BigNickMontana Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it (: I know that I am most definitely on cloud nine!

HorseLuver250 I sure as heck hope that she is. She does seem it though, her personality already seems to be starting to really break through and she just seems brighter.

ApolloRider Midna really is a sweetheart (: Those adorable ears of hers spring forward anytime that she hears anyone.

Hope that I responded to everybody XD Once again thanks for all of the extremely sweet and supportive comments!

I've really had a case of the boarding blues, and reading all of the comments on here when I get home helps, the barn owner is gonna come out one morning and find me curled up in the field with the horses (;

So bear hugs to all of ya'll!

You have quite the journey to take with that beauty, but nothing is as rewarding as seeing the changes as they put on weight and get healthy.

Can't wait to see her progress

Golden Horse Looking forward to every step of the journey! I cannot even begin to think of how rewarding it is going to see her get to what she should be. The few steps of progress we have already made have already been positively amazing to see.

I'll be sure to post regular updates (: How could I ever pass up an opportunity to show her off anyways ;P ?

Thanks for the comment!

Oh, wow, I absolutely love tall horses! Had to take a look after your comment and she is positively gorgeous, I am sure that she has turned many heads (;

I am looking forward to getting her into shape and giving riding her a go. My last horse was a Hackney and boy was she as bumpy as can be, so I look forward to seeing if Midna has the smoothness Tennessee Walker owners brag about ;D

Thanks! We've been working on giving her a horse "spa treatment" XD and her sweet little self is eating up the attention (:

well thank you i love her color...she a unique horse, not very trusting of people and very spooky but i am working on that with her. As far as smoothness if you can get them to stay in the running walk gait they are very smooth but my mare likes to pace and that is super bumpy and hard to ride lol... but she does this really cool slow motion canter thing that i love too... :)
