Exclamation New horse help?

I am getting this new horse and he is just a dream. nearly everything about him is perfect, to me. I was wondering what you do to settle a new horse in? he is currently eating just grass from a pasture and I was wondering if I should just continue keeping him on grass or switch to grain, hay, and grass?

If you add grain into his diet, I'd make sure to do it gradually.

Good luck with your new horse and try to post some pictures for everyone of your new boy! :)

If it aint broke, don't fix it.

But running a blood panel will show you if he's deficient in anything.

If he looks like he could be better, then you could consider changing up his diet.
