I know what you all mean. Its -22F up here. Normally I'm to scared of the cold to ride never mind the fact that the only places I can ride are either in snow up to the horses belly or on my huge icy driveway. The problem is that I need to get my horse into shape for Feb. 21 and I have a long way to go :(. So I suppose I will have to where a million pieces of clothing and the horse will have to just live with deep powdery snow.

I want summer soo bad. I haven't been on a horse since...sometime in September. I would probably ride if I had a broke horse unforutnatly for me I don't own one at the moment. I will be going to the indoor arena that is a couple miles from my house this coming weekend to work my 4yr old mare and hopefully be riding her in the spring.

A friend of mine might bring one of his horses out as well for me to work so that I will at least be able to ride.

I want spring soo bad right now!

Kelly I'm soooo excited for you! I can't wait to see some pictures! AHH that is great, I'm glad you are doing better.

riding in the snow

When your desperate you'll do anything. On night she went out to do chores and was gone a while so I call outside and she yelled back from the middle of the pasture that she was riding her horse. It was dark out I could'nt even she her. goofy kid.

Ah, I knew I could count of all of you to make me feel better!

Snowyowl, you know what's funny, that was me as a kid! I'd even ride in the rain.

I feel the same as you do.

A good cowboy always has a better horse at the end of the ride, a poor cowboy will be afoot reguardless of the horse.
