Question Not sure where to ask but... (Carrots)

What are carrots on here? I just had a thing above one of my posts saying "so and so left ## of carrots unattended, you can steal these. would you like to steal them?"

What are they? what do they mean?

Carrots belong to that annoying but addictive carrot game - you work your butt off trying to collect them when they pop up on the screen only later to have them stolen by that wretched carrot bandit or other players if you've left them unprotected. You can save your carrots for the fun of having a bunch or you can buy special carrot related treats from the kitchen to gift to other forum members. In anticipation of a question on how to protect your carrots - the only thing I've found that seems to work is to make sure you log off rather than just close the window when you're finished in the forum.
