Oh my goddd I ate dirt today!

I was getting my lesson in the same ring two little kids were getting lessons from their mom on their ponies when suddenly while cantering I lost my balance, then my stirrup, and then toppled over the side of the horse and hit the ground. The little girl promptly trotted her pony over to make sure I was okay and I showed her that I was SO okay that I got back on (after being checked over by my trainer) and continued my lesson without a hitch. I've had much scarier falls in the past so this one was easy to laugh about immediately after it happened lol. Oh and my position amd balancd magically improved after that, proving that falling off really can be a lesson learned :)

Well at least you could laugh about it. That little girl sounds sweet, especially to come over and check on you :).
