Here is a new update on Kai

I have had him for exactly a month now! I can't believe it has only been a month, feels like longer. He is such a good boy.

Definitely proven himself as a trail horse. Walked through a bunch of scotch broom that had no trail through it, it was all taller than him. It was even hitting him in the face and he didn't mind at all. Also went up a steep incline just fine. He is the type of horse that you can let out into a gallop and then walk him on a loose rein directly after.

Here are some new pictures

What a sweet boy. I know this is not in the critique section, but if you train him to turn off of his outside rein when you're doing barrels, you will get much cleaner turns. Love that his likes to trail ride and bull doze. Mine does that too.

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

boots - Thank you! I think so too hehe ;D

MyBoyPuck - Thanks We are just playing around. I actually don't barrel race or anything lol. I hate western and he definitely looks better English. I just want to do different things with him and expose him to all that I can. I don't really plan on training him for any one thing in particular as I don't show or do anything but pleasure ride My goal for him is to have him be bombproof, level headed, and be able to handle anything I throw at him.

DriftingShadow - Aww I will have to take a peek at your boy. My dream horse was always a blood bay. Not exactly the most unique horse lol but I have always wanted one for some reason. Finally got him.
