Anyways, get through uni or college and then sort out what you're doing.

I wouldn't write off a law career just because of the time involved. I am planning on getting my paralegal certificate once I graduate from undergrad and losing time with my dogs (and riding) doesn't concern me too much.

Every lawyer and paralegal I've spoken to has said that you will have time to do the things you love. You can make the decision to skip out on extra billing hours if you would rather go ride (or do anything else), and you can always go to the office on weekends to catch up with anything you may have neglected during the week. It all depends on how well you can motivate yourself and how you manage your schedule.

I would suggest shadowing some professionals who are in professions that interest you.
