I will keep her in my prayers.. How scary for you, but good job on staying strong and not freaking out :). I will send some healing vibes your way.

Thank you guys(: Today has been a wierd day with school and everything. I had to hop a ride since my dad stayed at the hospital. So here's the story:

We were out on a trail ride and Kiowa (the horse she was on) bucked. Not just a crow hop but a huge bronc buck. And my mom, being the new rider she is, had no chance of staying on. She fell. I hopped off Misti and she ran back to the barn. I sat I with my mom and she couldn't breathe and was turing blue. I had already called 911 and they were on the way. I was trying to stay calm but my mind felt like it was glazed over. I couldn't believe what had just happened. She was shaking and not breathing well. I felt like I was gonna see my mom die in front of me. When the ambulances got there I backed off and took the horse back to the barn. Then we headed to the hospital and we were there for 5ish hours. My mom is home today but in A LOT of pain. I feel really bad and I feel like it's my fault because I said yes to the trial ride. I feel so bad for her.

It is definitely NOT YOUR FAULT. Life happens and sometimes it sucks big time. However, in this situation your Mom is overall ok. Yes, broken and in pain, but she will recover.

Don't feel down on yourself. Don't go over and over it. Live in the present and help her now with as much as you can. Everything you do tells her how you feel about her. THAT is what is important.
