Poor abused horse

My horse that is

I was warned when I bought him that being a working ranch horse he wouldn't have been coddled very much, and that is true. Poor Gibbs, life used to be simple, he hung around then he would get caught up, go to work, then go back out and eat again. Now he is thinking..

"What the hell is this woman doing trying to spray chemicals on me, doesn't she know how dangerous that stuff is? She keeps saying that it's good for me, it will keep the flies away, I'm not so sure."

"Then she keeps trying to poke this stuff in my mouth, I'm having none of it, she says it's a treat, that is just another word for wormer I reckon."

"Then today she started scratching me, that was kind of OK, then she got the bit by my ears and that was really nice....

then IT happened, do you know what she did?" (this has to be read in the voice of an outraged 6 year old boy)

"She KISSED my nose, BLAH," If I had hands I would of wiped my nose clean....YUCKY.

Poor poor Gibbs, you would have thought I had thumped him the reaction I got total outrage that someone would kiss his mushroomy velvet nose. He has a lot to learn poor abused boy

You did what?

Hanging my head in total embarrassment kissed by an old girl UGGHH

Golden - he's getting a private pm from me giving him the horses help line number

On a serious note - he's looking really good. I bet you can't wait until you are able to start riding him around the country side.

He needs to get his passport in order. He's coming to live with me.

Poor baby. How he suffers so.

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.

Gorgeous. If I ever let myself but a horse just to indulge the color I love, he would be my absolute dream.

My girl hates kisses in the nose too :) ugh... Lady, you are soooo in my space!!

I think your boy and my boy are related.
Anything girly or affectionate beyond responding to the "oohh..oooh.... scratch just to the left of the bellybutton please....yep, right there...**lip curl** that's the right spot!" is met with total indignation and eye rolls.

I'll keep all the offers in mind, but you guys would probably try and do nice things for him as well...
