I think he maybe thawing, we brought everyone up by the barn again today, they have been out in the lower paddock, and put them in the round pen first while I tidied everyone up. Gibbs wouldn't leave me alone, wanted to be in everything that I was doing.

What a gorgeous boy!!! Man, I'm lucky my horse is such a mama's boy. I get my feelings hurt real easily when horses act like I have cooties! ;)

I spoke to him and kisses are OUT, a good manly scratch is now OK, and he's only resting his head on me so I can reach that bit behind his ears better

Took me six months to find it.
Or, rather it took six months before he would open up enough to reward me with the lip curl.
I swear the goober would stand there saying (while standing stock still no matter how much I curried and rubbed) ..."I will not react.. I will Not react... I will NOT rea..ohhh...little higher on the back *slight lip twitch*...Oops....I will not reaxct...I will not react...."

Once we finally bonded he relaxed about it, but still does not like kisses.

I can just picture that..

His name is changing slightly, who is old enough to remember Sidney Poitier in 'In the Heat of the Night'
