Half hour private lessons are $40.
Although I don't pay anything because I work at the barn in exchange for my lessons and my horse's board.

Lessons here range from $40-70ish usually. Thats for 45mins-an hour, using your own horse.

The SF Bay Area tends to the expensive side. My stable in Woodside charges: $85 for 45 minute private; $75 semi-private (2 people); and $60 group. A package of 6 consecutive weeks is 10% off.

$23 an hour flat group, $25 an hour jumping group, $30 an hour private (flat or jumping). There are no extra charges for hauling your own horse in or using a school horse, and my instructor is AMAZING.
