Yeah...get a live animal trap and start taking them to the animal shelter. The problem with that is most shelters make you pay to drop off dogs or cats...a "donation" they call it. This might sound cruel, but if I were you every time I see one on your property you may just want to shoot them. It is legal if they are causing problems and on your property. I wouldn't let you neighbor know, but really you would be helping the situation. Going to the shelter they would be put down there anyway, especially if most of them are wild. If you don't want to do that then you are welcome to continue to rant here. ;) lol

I've spent most my life riding horses...the rest i've just wasted.

That is the thing they aren't on my property. My dogs keep them away. They are on their property and every time I see her she tells me about another litter and how many her dog has killed. I can't very well go on her property and take her cats or set up traps on her property for them. If they were on my property I would be setting the traps.

Sounds like my brothers house! Omg... my cat Pannddorra stays with them she has had three litters... so sad. I have put up money for her, etc. Her kittens have had kittens. Its horrible. I am so close to calling the SPCA.
So my niece's cat had a litter of 7, she then got into something & from there her milk killed her & 6 of the 7... its so so so sad. The last one I shoved into my car & took her home to sleep in my barn. She is fine, as far as I know.

Its just so sad how things like this happen. Its not like I can force them, but I will & can call the SPCA. Its just that they are family. Its very hard.

I'm looking into traps tonight.
All you can do is pray (if you are religious) & cuss (if you are not).

Cats seem to be mistreated in every way possible. It makes me sick. I sure wouldn't shoot them...they are just being cats and doing what cats do. The cats are really the victims here. My kids just recently brought home a stray kitten they found in the woods. Another case of someone letting there house cats run around and breed all over the place. The little buggar is wild, but I think we can tame him down because he is so young. That may be the case with the kittens you are talking about if you act fast.

Yeah we ended up keeping the second one we found. Never did find the other one. HE tamed up really quick and lives in the laundry room for now with some inside privelages. If I let him out the dogs will get him. He is a cute little stinker. I am such a sucker.
