Rescues.for people wanting to hel

There was a thread a bit ago from someone wanting TO FIND kill pens in CA, so I thought that if we could list some names of some places they try to keep horses out of the kill pens.
this will be a list for people wanting to rescue horses.

1) Starlight Rescue . This site is also on face book. I think they are in NV.
2) your LOCAL animal control.
4) United Pegasus CA
5) Second Chance Ranch Ca
6)Whiskers hooves and paws CA

Would it be inappropriate to also make a list of rescues to avoid? This would be hugely beneficial, but I'm not sure if it's against forum policy.

I dont think it would be allowed. 1) libel issues. 2) a person whom is vindictive could post horrid things .
If you see a Rescue listed, you may be able to comment that you PERSONally do not like this rescue. I would not go beyond that.
I know a few people whom for unknown reasons get panties twisted and go around and bad mouth every place they have boarded, every place they purchased hay, every rescue they donated time . Just unstable type of people In my opinion they are mentally off.

Home - Helping Hearts Equine Rescue in Perrineville, NJ. They get many of their horses from the Camelot auction in Cranberry, NJ. There is also "Camelot Horse Weekly" on Facebook, which has the horses available for direct purchase out of the "kill" pen.
