Locally you don't have to raise any money unless you want to and I have just learnt they give out a buckle to the individual who raises the most money and the team who raises the most money wins saddle pads and the reserve team gets halters. I'm very excited about it this year! I hope this helped you

Thanks for the info, I would really like to get involved with this too

I ride every year for the Cheff Therapudic Riding Center in my area - they host a big ride, where everyone raises money for their center.

I go to all the local businesses, and the people I work with - I usually raise over $100.

You'll get sponsors, and remember, even if you get a little bit, it goes a long way :)

It works if you can get people to take them and most people will considering how low maintance they are. :)
Oh very cool idea!! thank you for the suggestion/tip!

That is excellent, I love the ticker ! what an awesome idea.
You have really got me inspired to do this locally , I have been thinking about it for awhile and now trying to get other horse owners from my area involved as well. A great cause doing something that you love, trail riding!

Probably not going on sponsor hunting today since most store owners will not be in to Ok donations. A little bummed out about this but oh well I suppose. I have two stores to visit next week that will hopefully be donating more towards this cause . I am also going to try and get some more Jars out there asap.

I'm stuck at school all day today so no hunting for me :'( HOWEVER, I don't have class tomorrow and I have to go to the DVM to renew my lisence since it expired when I turned 21. So I have two stores I have to stop at that asked me to come in 'next week' well it's next week .
