Ugh, people these days... you sometimes wonder how the HELL did THAT person get that position!??! Why can't smart, normal, uncorrupted people with brains run our countries! ><

A ride a day keeps the worries away!

So if a horse is colicing...you would need to wait 24 hours to get any sort of meds...?

That's ridiculous and should not go through, that is unsafe and unfair to the horse's.

Yeah... you aren't allowed to administer injections yourself, and any medication, even wormers (I think.. pretty sure..) you have to order through the vet. Boooo. Well, I suppose if they mess up I can sue..?

That's ridiculous. I'll have to ask my trainer from the UK about it. Is it for all of GB or just one area...?

Isnt a vets JOB to administer medicine and know when and how to use it? To me this sounds like the vets are getting a big part of their job taken away from some control freak that doesnt know better, and it seems very very dangerous for animals.
if i lived there i would be so mad. Heck, im in america and im steaming. Do people not think these days?

The part of the UK that is in fact Germany. The wonderful Tory government is trying to ruin the human health care system but as far as I know, nothing has changed with regards to critters.

Duffy is British but lives in Germany.
