Dear, you have no right to tell anyone to be quiet OR take petty stabs at how much knowledge they have. So far I've seen you stamp your feet, get mad, call names, swear, etc. and you're very very quickly destroying any respect I had for you when you started out here. Just keep in mind that its easy to create a reputation on the Internet

Whether or not they weight 700lbs when they are weaned isn't really the issue. Even if they are 700 pounds you do realize that when you rope them and they fall, the calf is falling with all 700 pounds of it. Many people don't realize that.

Also, again, I don't know much about calves but I do know that the calves used in roping ARE NOT 700 pounds.

For the wretched of the earth there is a flame that never dies.
Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.

If you enjoy it of course your going to spend money on it. It's doesn't matter how much or how little you spend, its going to hurt or injure the animal all the same. I think your bar for the definition of injury is set quite high. I'm not talking the once in a blue moon broken neck, I'm talking damage to the esophagus/trachea, neck, spine, muscle, etc. Things that aren't so OBVIOUS. Have you even been dead stopped at 20mph+ by a man on a horse with a rope?

Yes, the OP is showing herself to be rather nasty tempered....to anyone whose opinion she doesn't like. Kind of sad....no real conversation can hapen when one of the participants has their virtual fingers stuck in their ears...

Plus there are so many spelling and grammatical errors, it is exhausting to read her posts.

I think she needs to change her keyboard settings as well. I think she has them set for French so it's leading to some really strange characters appearing in her typing.
