Stretching Jaw on Corner Feeder?
I’m not sure if this is in the right category or if it should be in the “Horse Health” area, but that area looks like it’s for serious concerns when it comes to health.
My horse has been doing this for a period of time, but he’ll use the attached corner feeder to (I assume) stretch his jaw. He’ll place his upper teeth along the back edge and pull a little bit backwards which opens his mouth a bit.
I was just wondering if this was okay and if this is just in fact him stretching his jaw.
(We do ride using single D-ring bits for English)
