Look on Craigslist, we've got 3 tack sales in the next week around here at different locations. There are a couple 4H ones coming up in the begninning of the year. But I am in Michigan. Auctions have tack too. You'll just have to look around, do internet searches.

When you give a personal lesson in meanness to a critter or to a person, don't be surprised if they learn their lesson.

Thanks, I will do that!

And for those asking about stuff like buckets or whatnot like a turnout sheet and haynet. My stables is...well, a great stables, but most of the stuff is broken. Our haynets are torn so hay falls out(which Is why I want my own hay bag, as well as for showing), our tack rooms are overloaded. Saddles are stacked on top of each other with nothing inbetween, some have a saddle pad, but not usually, which is why I want a saddle rack. And stuff like buckets arnt something I need. Maybe if I were to get a trailer, but I dont think we will because we all car-pool or...trailer-pool :P when we go to shows. So yeah. For the stirrups. My saddle I just bought does come with stirrups and leathers, but I jump, so I want safety stirrups. I ride in some now, and I like them. Like I said, a lot of stuff at our stable is torn or broken, unfortunately. Theyre great people, but lifes hard on them money-wise, so only the things that REALLY need fixing get to be fixed first. Like the horses vet bills. So I want my own stuff. Ill probably build a wood tack locker to put in the boarders tack room so none of my stuff gets mixed up or destroyed/stolen.

Sorry for not clearing that up :P

If you already have stuff for lesson horses such as a halter and grooming supplies, why buy them again? It seems like an unneccessary expense.

Why do you need a hay divider and hay net?

I wasnt saying I was buying them again. At the bottom of my post I wrote that some things without specifics I already have; I was just listing them, almost so it's a check-list of sorts.

And Hay net because most of the ones at our stables are provided by the boarders, and most have huge holes or are broken. So I'd need my own. It's only three dollars round here, so it's not that big of a deal. And the Hay divider/bag would be for showing, since shows we go to we use stalls, and cant use bedding/have to keep them almost spotless, so a hay bag would be better than a hay net at keeping the hay from spilling all onto the ground.

Haha I didnt even think of polos! Probably because no one around here uses them. We all use boots because they protect more than polos. And IMO they look better. :P
