Sux :(

Well I had an ad up on kijiji saying I was looking for barn work or work with horses. I have just over 9 years experiance. A lady emailed me on Sunday that she was looking for an english rider to teach her lessons and to help her work her horses. She's a western trainer. Well I emailed her back a couple hours later and still haven't recieved a reply. It really really really sucks because I was so excited and my mom is pressuring me to get a job and I really needed this. I'm trying so hard not to work at sobey's.

I would possibly e-mail her back, maybe she didn't get the e-mail, maybe it went to spam, or she's just busy during the week, and hasn't had a chance to reply to the e-mail, or forgot that she hasn't replied. If you e-mail her again to check up on it, it shows that you do really want the job, and are going to do your part to communicate with her, and hopefully work something out. Don't give up, just keep on trying.

I was hired to teach lessons too, but it took the boss almost 2 weeks to give me a call and have me come out to see the place and have a working interview. Many people get busy or only check their emails once or twice a day. I would be a little patient in waiting for her response now that you've contacted her until she replies. May I ask why you waited so long to get back to her (she contacted you sunday, you emailed back a couple days later)?

Good Luck!

ETA: change my answer because i read the OP wrong *oops*

no zeke its been a couple days. I emailed her back sunday. Yea that's what I thought dressagebelle, maybe she's just busy. I emailed her a couple minutes ago asking if she'd recieved it.

I got another job offer I'm not to sure about though. Its at a 200 acres ranch. The place has 3 paint stallions, loads and loads of horses. I'd be doing feeding and helping with horses. They're a pretty much strictly outdoor facility. They have like 4 stalls and they're not even heated. We got our first snow storm today and its -25 celsius out now so I'm a little apprehensive about an outdoor job. Bleh, guess we'll see how it all goes.
