SlideStop - I know a lot of people like that kinda stuff but I've seen it in so many places it's just cheesy to me now. :/ Plus, those quotes are actually from some of my idols who have inspired me throughout the years. I'm hunting down more as we speak.

Joe - Lol, while I appreciate you saying I'm beautiful as I am, I feel that tattoos are a piece of art. I have a tattoo artist in the family who is just incredible, she's actually who I'm having do it.

Whicchhh leads me to the next question, yep I've priced it out. I'm getting the "family discount" but my grandfather is paying the difference. My friend is coming with me to get her tattoo as well. She was waiting for me to turn 18 as well and we were going together.

I have definitely decided to just do a line art sketch. I'm gonna get my pad out and play with it a little, then edit it on the computer so I can show you guys. It's hard to find a good one of a horse spinning, but I did find one I'm gonna try. This tattoo won't be huge, that's for sure. Ran it by my artist today and says that as long as we do it without the portrait, she can do it in one session.

Look at yourself and situation in 10-20 years. Wha if something happens between you and the trainer that makes you have a falling- out bad now you have their phrase tattooed on your body? I had a trainer as a youngling who I would have followed to the ends of the earth. Now she's a friend, but we don't talk often and I've moved on with my career.
Just something to ponder.

That is true, and I have thought about that JDI.

I was thinking though, I have started using that phrase because she uses it. It's something I always have to tell myself, whether I'm teaching haunch turns for the first time or whether I'm spinning at a show. Step, step, step, step.... We joke that we're gonna get ear pieces and tell each other that when we go to show.

Just so you can really grasp what I'm talking about...LOL!

This is my advice
If you must get a tattoo then go for something that isn't going to look completely stupid when you're in your 50's !!!

Where are you putting it?? it really depends on the area. they are going to have to be big to really look good honestly... I have two tattoos... If put in a small area, as a smaller tattoo, its not going to look good honestly.

IMO I wouldn't put really any quotes or sayings around it yet.. just get the horse tattoo first and see if you like it.. if you still like it then add words or a quote. you have all the time in the world to think of something that'll fit. when you get the words etched on.. no time to take them back

Just my opinion not trying to be mean lol. I just have two and my cousin is a tattoo artist.

You have to get a really good one though to do something like this.
