Cool Teen horse thread!

Hey everyone! I saw a few age restrictive threads so I figured there's no need for us to be left out!

Do you have a horse? Lease? Take lessons? Or just horse crazy? Tell me about it!

Three horses of my own - one is retired, my current horse is trying to be retired by all of a sudden not listen to my mom or I with any commands and cues (but he sill makes an amazing trail horse.) And the third is my moms horse - who is gaited and has the smoothest and fastest lope ever!!!

I do barrel racing, trail riding, and small jumps with my horse.
I would like to train horses in the future, and I would love to begin my career by helping people learn more about horses and get better with and around their horse. One of my ""clients"" is already out the window because she talks crap about things I say to my best friend and acts like she is better than me and does everything in her power to do everything I do and try to prove that she is better than me in all ways.

I work at a dog grooming place - but I help clean horse stalls, clean tack, and groom horses as well as clean dog kennels, dog dishes, windows, move dogs to different kennels and outside or inside, and I am going to work today as a matter of fact!

That is kinda a lot to say for a teen horse thread - but hey! Why not??

I am also a sophomore in high school.

Yay, finally, I was thinking of doing this myself!
I have three horses of my own, and I still take lessons. I used to ride western a lot, but after getting back into English that's primarily what I ride in now.

Thank you for feeding us years of lies. Thank you for the wars you left us to fight. Thank you for the world you ruined overnight. But we'll be fine, yeah we'll be fine.

I gues I'll be a bit more detailed.
My family owns 23 horses. Some are brood mares and foals, some are racehorses that we buy and my grandpa and aunt train. Currently, at my house, we only have seven. The brood mares are with our herd and the cattle. The racehorses are with grandpa. We have one mostly retired ,very skilled pro-rodeo barrel horse. My step mom had him a long time. I rode him a while before I got pepper, who was much less trained.
But now we are a great pair, and she doesn't work for anyone who acts like they are completely in control and she is a machine. She will remind them of what's called a fatal malfunction.

I have four horses. Two are actually mine though :P My youngest one I am working to get him rideable and he is doing okay ish. My other one I jump and barrel race and pole bend with her. And sometime I want to try team penning or sorting on her too :) I take lessons and I'm horse addicted.

Hey! It's nice to hear you are taking lessons! I love to see horse crazy people getting to live out their dreams! I hope someday you can get a horse of your own!

I just bought a six year old ;) I leased her for a while and just loved her too much to let her go!
